Youth for Ecocide Law is de jongerentak van de internationale beweging om de massale vernietiging van de natuur strafbaar te stellen. Ze verspreiden het begrip onder alle jongeren en slaan een brug tussen de jeugdbeweging/het maatschappelijk middenveld en de beleidsprocessen van de VN.
Doe samen met een toenemend aantal bedrijven een dringend verzoek aan onze overheden om deel te nemen aan het internationale debat. En vraag hen om ecocide toe te voegen aan het Statuut van Rome van het Internationaal Strafhof (ICC). Zo zorgen we voor een toekomst en een bedrijfsvoering die in harmonie is met de natuur.
International recognition of ecocide will provide a much-needed framework to protect ocean wildlife and marine ecosystems from the worst harms. It’s time to rebalance our relationship with the ocean.
